Background
Barbara Bray founded Computer Strategies in 1991,
because she knew that technology actively engages students in the learning
process. Bray understood that teachers need support and a coach or mentor
to facilitate the process of bringing technology into their classrooms
in a non-threatening manner. In 1997, Computer Strategies became a limited
liability company.
Working with a team of educators who had the same
vision for technology, education, and constructivist learning, Bray
created workshops and on-site coaching to address the needs of teachers
in classrooms. It was not long before Computer Strategies, LLC, with
our new division My eCoach, expanded
to schools, districts and counties throughout the nation based on the
coaching model on-site and online.
Our team
includes educators, technology specialists, and curriculum leaders from
all grade levels and subject areas. My eCoach customizes professional
development programs based on teachers'
individual learning plans, standards, student achievement data and
learning outcomes.
My eCoach
facilitates creating a learning community and building capacity at each
school. Check out some of the testimonials
of some of our satisfied clients.
