Bray

Barbara founded Computer Strategies in 1990 to provide relevant
and customized technology workshops for teachers. Barbara has
provided support to public and private schools around the bay area
as a facilitator, grant writer, and consultant for over 10 years.
She taught classes at UC Berkeley, Cal State Hayward, St. Mary's
College, was program chair of East Bay Computer Using Educators
(CUE), and presented at numerous national and international
conferences. Her expertise is working with school technology teams
as she facilitates the design of their staff development plan and
guides the implementation of their plan. Barbara received the Gold
disk award from CUE at the Fall 1998 Conference for her dedication

Janie
Mah

Janie recently joined Computer Strategies as our marketing
manager and trainer coordinator. She was an instructor and owner
of KidQuest Computer Learning Center in Cupertino. She was also an
ACOT "Apple Classroom of Tomorrow" teacher and trainer where she
conducted technology lessons and curriculum
planning ideas to administrators, teachers and business
developers. Janie's enthusiasm and passion in educational
technology is apparent through her workshops where she offers
instructional strategies and technical skills to the
participants.

Barbara
Cohen

Barbara is on leave from Computer Strategies. She has joined
the faculty of Phillips Brooks School in Menlo Park as their
Technology Coordinator. Many of the participants of Barbara's
workshops will really miss her and so will we. But don't worry,
Barbara plans to offer after school workshops for us in the
future.

Linda
Kennedy

Linda has been working as a Technology Coordinator/Computer Teacher at Sleepy Hollow School in Orinda, CA for the past eight years. She works with students, teachers, and staff to use and integrate technology into their classrooms. In addition to working at Sleepy Hollow School, Linda has been working as a part-time Technology Consultant with Computer Strategies working as a coach at Bessie Carmichel in SF and assisting in the design of web resources. The computer program at the schools she has worked at are thriving and well regarded by students, parents, and teachers. Linda loves showing others how to use technology as a learning and teaching tool.

Marilyn is Computer Education Project Manager in San Ramon
Valley Unified School District. She is past-president of East Bay
Computer-Using Educators (CUE) and won a CUE gold disk for her
hard work and dedication to technology in education. Her workshops
are designed with practical techniques that help each participant
learn at their own pace. Marilyn spends much time working on her

Trena Noval

Trena has 15 years classroom teaching experience at the middle school, high school and college levels. From 1994 to 1996 she was contracted by the San Francisco Unified School District to work with a team to pilot a technology integration program at Burton High School. Here she worked as a Curriculum Technology Integration Specialist with teachers and students on many successful classroom-based technology projects. She has worked for the past three years in the educational software and website development industry as a Producer and Content Developer. She holds a MFA Degree in Media Arts and Technology and is a new member of the Computer Strategies team as a coach with Oakland's middle school teachers for the Virtual Museum Project.

Keith

Keith has just left his position as a computer science
instructor and mentor teacher at Walnut Creek Unified School
District to move to Mendocino. Keith is the HyperCard expert where
his students have provided many projects for the CUE CD-ROM. Keith
and Marilyn co-present each year at many conferences and offer
classes on multimedia for UC Berkeley. They offer amazing
workshops that give participants practical strategies on using a
variety of productivity tools including Hyperstudio and
ClarisWorks.
