ClarisWorks is an incredible and versatile
tool for anyone at any age.
This three hour workshop will open the door to creativity when
you see how easy this program is to use. You will learn about the
features included with the word processor plus some quick tips and
ideas that you can use the next day. Bring a floppy disk if you
want to save any of your work. This workshop will be taught in the
Macintosh lab, but PC users are encouraged to attend. It is
available and similar on both platforms. An introductory computer
class or equivalent experience is required. By the end of the
workshop, you will be able to:
- use the toolbar and ruler.
- enter and edit text.
- change characters, fonts and styles.
- format paragraphs and documents.
- use margins, indents and tabs.
- use the spell checker and thesaurus.
- import a graphic using the Draw mode.
- re-create a document using the features above.
